Camp Portraits

We went camping at Rock Creek Lake last week with some family friends.
I'd been experimenting doing some portraits with my YashicaMat 124G and the close-up add-on lens. So I decided to do some portraits of the 6 wild, mostly willing kids at the campsite over a 5 day period.

Day 1
Campsite in the evening.

Max - He's getting so used to being photographed that I swear he's mocking me half the time...

Nick - Not quite in the spirit yet...

Day 2
Campsite during the Cowboys & Indians break.

Claire - The Indian Chief with remnants of her war paint

Big Max - I'm not sure why he put his hand up to his chin. I didn't give him any instruction. I think he saw Sam do it and thought it was cool...

Nick

Sam - I think this is where Big Max got the idea.

Max

Day 4
Mono Creek trail.

Frank - Chapped face...

Nick - Finally in the spirit...

Sam

Max

Big Max - with a variation on the hand to the face....

Claire

Day 5
Campsite - Breakfast

Nick

Frank

Sam
